Good News Translation

40 Take care, then, so that what the prophets said may not happen to you:[a]

41 (A)‘Look, you scoffers! Be astonished and die!
For what I am doing today
    is something that you will not believe,
    even when someone explains it to you!’”

42 As Paul and Barnabas were leaving the synagogue, the people invited them to come back the next Sabbath and tell them more about these things.
